At Hiddr Meats VA, we raise and finish our animals and attend to pasture quality with great care. Here, you’ll find the finest quality meats raised in the most ethical and sustainable way, offered to our community directly from our Charlottesville farm through our unique distribution model.
We offer pickups through our independent distribution model in order to support community purchasing power. This means we can offer the highest quality at the greatest value, sustainably.
Kosher done differently.
The Kosher meat industry is led mostly by distributors, not growers. While most Kosher products travel vast distances from the farm to the slaughterhouse and then to the retailer, we founded Hiddr to model something different.
We’re not here to change the entire industry—just to show what’s possible. While we could scale up and produce more, we choose not to. By staying small and sustainable, we prioritize quality over quantity, offering a thoughtful approach to Kosher meat.
To eat Hiddr meats is to be in relationship with the land, animals, each other, and our creator.
While this may be the best meat you’ll ever eat, Hiddr is about more than flavor. From birth to slaughter, we honor the animals we raise with the utmost care—no expense spared, no corners cut.
We want to help you connect with the land, the animals, and others in our community. You’re buying our meat, yes, but you’re also intimately part of the process of how its raised and finished.
We don’t ship our meat—by design. Instead, we cultivate relationships by welcoming you to the farm or connecting through our ambassadors’ homes, fostering a sense of community and shared purpose.
